MyiNotary.com makes all attempts to protect your private information that you upload to MyiNotary.com except as provided in this Policy. MyiNotary.com will not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent except as provided in this Policy. MyiNotary.com may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. MyiNotary.com is not responsible for, and does not have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourages all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

Use of Site by Minors

MyiNotary.com does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 18 years of age.

Data MyiNotary.com Collects

MyiNotary.com may collect your name, email address, physical address, phone number, and notary registration information for purposes of providing a user account and storing notarizations made through MyiNotary.

MyiNotary.com collects information that is directly uploaded to MyiNotary.com by you about individuals for which you provide notarization services, including their signatures and photographs. You agree and acknowledge that you have permission from those individuals to upload the information to MyiNotary.com. MyiNotary.com collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly.

MyiNotary.com sometimes collects your email address, for purposes such as sending email newsletters, notarization records, and authenticating your account. By submitting your email address to MyiNotary.com, you consent to emails from MyiNotary. To opt out of newsletter emails, please follow the unsubscribe directions in the email.

MyiNotary.com sometimes collects your phone number for the purpose of calling you or texting you about purchases made through MyiNotary.com, service related updates and/or your account or uploads through MyiNotary.com. By submitting your phone number to MyiNotary.com, you consent to phone calls from MyiNotary.com, even if such number is registered through a state or federal “Do Not Call” list.

When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version, and the device identifier (or “UDID”). We collect your location based information for the purpose of locating an address so that a user’s location can be recorded. We will only share this information with our mapping provider for the sole purpose of providing you this service. Geo location data can be attached to a notary record and the data will be retained until the record is deleted. If you no longer wish to allow us to track your geo- location information in the mobile app you may turn this off at the device level (feature planned).

MyiNotary’s weblogs collect standard weblog entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Weblogs help MyiNotary.com diagnose problems with our servers, administer MyiNotary.com, and otherwise provide MyiNotary’s products and service to you. In addition, MyiNotary.com may collect other information from your interaction with MyiNotary.com, services, content, and advertising, including computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from MyiNotary.com, ad data, IP address, demographic and navigational data, and standard weblog information. This information may be obtained for MyiNotary.com from a third party provider. MyiNotary.com may use this information for marketing, commercial, and/or any other purpose as MyiNotary.com sees fit.

Data MyiNotary.com Stores

All information posted to this site, including account and notary entries, is stored in MyiNotary’s database, even after “deletion,” and may be archived elsewhere. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Please contact us if you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

MyiNotary’s aggregated non personal information from weblogs and other records are stored indefinitely. This may include any information you supply to MyiNotary.com and your browsing history. However, MyiNotary.com cannot guarantee access to these records by third parties for more than seven business days after the original information was submitted.

The security of your personal information and our client’s information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information such as notary information on our forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Although MyiNotary.com makes good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, MyiNotary.com cannot guarantee complete security.

MyiNotary.com may store information in an off-site location, which is located in the United States. This location employs privacy policies of its own to ensure your data is guarded at all time. A copy of this policy is available upon request.

Archiving and display of MyiNotary.com webpages by search engines and other sites

Search engines and other sites not affiliated with MyiNotary.com – including Google.com, and Yahoo.com – archive or otherwise make available MyiNotary’s webpages. MyiNotary.com has no control over third-party archiving and search engine sites and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information stored by search engine sites.

Credit Card Information.

All purchases made through MyiNotary.com are handled by PayPal. Please see PayPals Privacy Policy regarding payments made through the PayPal. MyiNotary.com does not store nor gather credit card information through MyiNotary.com.

MyiNotary.com has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the MyiNotary.com’s Client (the data controller). If the Client requests MyiNotary.com to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.

MyiNotary.com will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client or for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide you services, this includes geo location information. MyiNotary.com will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Our web site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as the ShareThis button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our web site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

International Users

MyiNotary.com welcomes international users to browse the site. International Website Users consent to all the terms of service and this privacy agreement. International users waive any and all remedies that they may have based on the laws of their country.
